ABU 7000 C has become the by word for a heavy duty beach, uptide or light boat reel

The ABU 7000 C is fitted with ABU’s tried and tested levelwind system which ensures perfect line lay and allows you to concentrate on the important job of landing your catch. The 4.1:1 Duragear system is smooth and gives a good combination of speed and power to help retrieve both fish and tackle.

Should the fish have other ideas the Carbon Matrix drag system provides smooth and consistent drag pressure to quickly bring it back under control.

Although the ABU 7000 C is not designed for extreme distance casting the 4 pin centrifugal braking system allows you smooth trouble free casting which is more than adequate for the sort of situations where you need to use a more powerful reel.

ABU have also redesigned the handle and drag knob on the ABU 7000 C for increased cranking power and ease of use.
