The Abu Ambassaduer 7000i Synchro is based on the classic ABU 7000 but with the added benefit of ABU’s unique Synchro Drag system.

The Synchro drag works like a standard star drag but by turning the handle backwards by a آ¼ turn it reduces the drag pressure. This is really useful if a fish makes a final dive at the side of the boat as it allows you to quickly give line and reduce the risk of a hook pull or line snap. Once you start to retrieve the drag then returns to its normal setting.

The Abu Ambassaduer 7000i Synchro benefits from the normal 7000i features of a strong frame, aluminium spool, tough 4.1:1 retrieve, levelwind system and line out alarm. This makes it a good option for uptide casting and light to medium downtide fishing.

The inclusion of centrifugal brakes allows trouble free casting and also means that the reel can be used for heavy duty beach work.
