The Splash Down is similar to the Gemini Flatback but incorporates Gemini’s unique ‘Splash Down’ bait release system. This not only allows you to clip the baited hook in position directly behind the lead but also ‘locks’ the hook in place to prevent it from releasing until it hits the sea. Water pressure then frees the baited hook to ensure perfect presentaion.
