The Gemini Springy Heads are suitable for general uptide use and also beach fishing in very strong tides. The wire on the Springy is stiffer than the AS head so it holds bottom even better but when you go to wind in the sinker will normally spring free from the sea bed.
As the wires do not bend back as well on the retrieve the Springy heads are best used from the boat or when you are above the water with a greater angle to your terminal tackle, ie. piers, rock edges etc
