Hokkais are a superb all rounder which is possibly the most versatile lure available. From the shore they can be cast out and jigged back in to catch species such as mackerel and pollack.
On the boat they are deadly for pollack, cod and a wide variety of other species. The addition of bait can at times see a huge increase in catches and for some reason baited hokkais will often out fish both unbaited lures and plain bait by a huge margin.
