Penn Fathom II – 30SD is a powerful non level-wind high speed (6.1:1) multipliers which can be used for boat or heavy shore fishing.
From the boat they will cover general bottom fishing, lure work, jigging and uptiding.

The centrifugal braking system and free floating spool means that they also cast well making them a great choice for ultra heavy duty work from the shore. The Penn Fathom II – 30SD has a wider spool giving extra capacity which makes it ideal for fishing deep water marks and for targeting species which are liable to run and fight hard. It also allows the use of heavier lines.

The one piece frame, metal side plates, alloy spool, strong gears and HT100 drag gives the Fathom the solid dependable feel which you want in a hard working multiplier reel.
