Penn Fathom II – 30SDP is a powerful non level-wind multiplier which can be used for boat or heavy shore fishing.

The P version has a lower 4.8:1 gear ratio giving you improved torque and greater winding power. This is helpful when playing large fish in deep water.

From the boat they will cover general bottom fishing, lure work, jigging and uptiding.

The centrifugal braking system and free floating spool means that they also cast well making them a great choice for ultra heavy duty work from the shore.

The Penn Fathom II – 30SDP has a wider spool giving extra capacity which makes it ideal for fishing deep water marks and for targeting species which are liable to run and fight hard. It also allows the use of heavier lines.
