Penn Fathom II – 40SD is a powerful non level-wind high speed (6.1:1) multipliers which can be used for boat or heavy shore fishing.
From the boat they will cover general bottom fishing, lure work, jigging and uptiding.

The centrifugal braking system and free floating spool means that they also cast well making them a great choice for ultra heavy duty work from the shore. The Penn Fathom II – 40SD has an extra wide spool giving huge line capacity which makes it ideal for fishing deep water marks and for targeting species which are liable to run and fight hard. It also allows the use of heavier lines.
