Penn Fierce IV Live Liner 4000LL

The Penn Fierce IV Live Liner 4000LL is a tough and dependable saltwater ‘spinning reel which features Penn’s adjustable ‘live liner’ feature. The ‘live liner’ allows you to set the reel in free spool so that a taking fish can run off against a pre-set tension.

To set the hook you can reengage the normal drag and retrieve by either flicking the lever on the reel body or just turning the reel handle. This is ideal for fishing from the beach for bass, hounds and other species which tend to run when they pick up the bait. The Fierce IV Live Liner also makes a very good boat reel.

The Full Metal body construction helps to keep the gearing in alignment allowing a smooth and powerful retrieve even under pressure, The balanced rotor helps to keep everything nice and smooth.
