The Speedmaster II is a compact high performance reel which is capable of coping with a wide range of fishing situations. It is a good reel for general heavy bottom fishing, deep water jigging, light line shark fishing and sporting overseas fishing

The two main features are the super smooth 18kg (40lb) lever drag system and the twin speed retrieve. This allows you to manually swap between the high speed 5.7:1 gear ratio and the high torque 3.1:1 gear ratio. The gear adjuster is fitted on the handle and allows you to instantly swap ratios with just the flick of a switch. The drag system allows you to quickly alter the pressure. The reel comes set for fishing with braid but it comes with an alternative drag lever which you can fit to give optimum performance with monofilament lines

The Hagane body design keeps everything solidly in line ensuring ultra-smooth performance of the spool, gearing and drag.
