The Tronix Pro Portland Pro Boom has been designed with the boat angler in mind. The metal body has a swivel at top and bottom. this allows you to attach your main line to one end and then fasten the sinker with either a clip of your choice or a length of rotten bottom line if fishing over snaggy ground. The free running trace bead is able to slide and rotate on the metal arm helping to give a neat tangle free presentation. It makes a simple rig for drift fishing with live baits or lures on a flowing trace when targeting bass and pollack.
Its name is derived from its popularity as a simple no nonsence tangle free rig for targetting bass in the Portland race off of the Dorset coast.
