Xorus Patchinko – 165mm

The Xorus Patchinko 165 is a stepped up version of the classic Patchinko. When used with a powerful rod it can be cast huge distances allowing you to cover lots of water. The large profile is perfect when fish are on bigger bait such as joeys and sardines.
The Patchinko is tail weighted which allows you to make long accurate casts and distances of 60m+ are possible given balanced tackle and favourable conditions. This means that you can cover more water and reach the fish when they are slightly further from the shore.

The body weighting, angled face and loop position means that the Patchinko almost works itself with a steady retrieve but its effectiveness can be increased by adopting a ‘walk the dog’ action with the rod tip. You do not need to go mad with the rod action but a steady flicking of the rod tip from your wrist whilst winding in will make the lure skit from side to side in a manner which bass find hard to resist.

The Patchinko is an attractive lure and comes in a range of different colours to allow you to match the conditions on the day. It has built in rattles to add to the attraction and help to draw fish up to the lure.
